Customer’s Review on OEB Breakfast Co.

1. OEB on 222 5th Ave saved my day! Lost and late for an appointment, their friendly staff, especially Kat, stopped everything to help. Kat even walked me several blocks to my car and gave me perfect directions. OEB’s people are the nicest ever, and if their food is even half as good as they are (judging by the crowds, it must be!), nobody will be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back for breakfast and see these amazing people again! Thanks, Teresa!

2. This restaurant is fantastic! The waiters were all friendly and super efficient, even though we were a big group of 14 who showed up last minute. They helped us choose dishes, happily swapped drinks and meals when we changed our minds, and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and happy. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone!

The cozy diner atmosphere near the Bow River is perfect for a post-walk refuel or a casual catch-up with friends, especially when you can soak up the Calgary sunshine on the charming outdoor patio.

Customer’s Review on Tonic Kitchen + Bar

1. The restaurant was nice and the staff friendly, but the service wasn’t great. I had to ask for water twice and never got it, and it took forever for our drinks to arrive. By the time the second round came, we were already done with dinner! They seemed to care more about cleaning empty tables than clearing our plates, even though we were finished eating. The fish tacos were amazing, honestly the best I’ve ever had, but everything else was just okay. So, go for the tacos but don’t expect stellar service.

2. We loved this place so much, that we ate here twice while on vacation! For dinner, my wife devoured their yummy beef dip, while I tackled their epic club sandwich – and everything was delicious. On our way back home, we squeezed in breakfast before our flight, even though it was packed. Good news – despite the crowd, our food arrived super fast! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Customer’s Review on The Coup

1. The Coup isn’t just a veggie restaurant, it’s a celebration of vegetarian cooking done right! I’m not a vegetarian myself, but their creative and delicious dishes won me over. They use fresh, local ingredients to create amazing plant-based food that’s full of flavor and satisfaction.

Some dishes offer the option to add it if you want, which is a nice touch. And don’t miss dessert! The Ube Cheesecake is a must-try – beautiful, tasty, and with a perfect texture.

Overall, The Coup is a fantastic restaurant that caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Try it, and I guarantee you’ll love it! It’s like a warm hug for your veggie soul, even if you’re not a full-on vegetarian.

2. Four of us went out, and two friends wanted vegan food, so we tried a vegan restaurant! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was open to new flavors.

We shared some amazing starters – avocado on crisps, hummus with special bread, and fried Brussels sprouts (the group’s favorite!). Then, we split three dishes, including rice noodles with fake meat that was surprisingly delicious.

Our waiter was super patient and friendly, making the whole experience a lot of fun. I’m so glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried this place! I’d definitely go back again.

Customer’s Review on Galaxie Diner

1. On a recent Calgary trip, I finally stumbled upon Nick’s Grill, this amazing old-school diner hidden in plain sight! My son and I went for breakfast, expecting a wait (it was Friday morning, after all). We sucked it up for 15 minutes, and boy, was it worth it!

I had the Traditional Breakfast – classic, delicious, and enough to fuel an army. My son was equally happy, and the prices were super reasonable. Our waiter was a pro, keeping everything smooth and friendly.
2. We snagged breakfast at Galaxie Diner yesterday, even with a 20-minute wait. Totally worth it! The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. And the food? Oh, the food! Delicious doesn’t even cut it. Already planning our next Calgary trip just to visit again. Trust me, you won’t regret waiting for a table at Galaxie Diner!
